I don't know if it's changed, but Guide Dogs used to have a policy of not
letting people with children have German Shepards also.

I'm not sure if you are saying that you have a German Sheppard and would like
to use it as a guide dog, or if you would like a GS as a guide dog if you
could. The Guide Dogs association do breed and train their own German
Shepherds as guide dogs, but not many.
