Hi Listers,
After all the talk about getting your own domain, and remembering the hastle I had when I changed to o2 and had to change all my lists and contacts, I've been looking at various providers of domain names. Some tell me they cost £2.99 a year with 88p a month for e-mail, others quote different prices for different services such as servers and DNS control which I don't understand anyway. What I'm asking here is to avoid getting ripped off by paying for something I won't use, can anyone recommend a good domain provider who won't cost the earth. I don't, at the moment anyway, want a website, just a basic domain where I could have a permanent e-mail address and avoid all this hastle if I should change ISP's in the future.
Thanks for any help.

Cheers,
Sandra.
