For those who have probably been bored to tears with my Gmail queries, I am
delighted to say that I have now solved the issues I was having, thanks to
all those who contributed, particularly Mo.

In the end, I got so fed up with the way I had to go to the Gmail page and
check each Email, then delete it, that I set about finding out, once and for
all, why I couldn't do this within Outlook. In short, I went to my Gmail
settings, checked Pop3, and decided to create a Pop3 account in Outlook.
This done, I created a new folder for the list Eyes-Free, made a rule, and
ran it. To my utter relief, the messages went straight into that folder,
and I was able to delete them and my Imap account. I am now sorted!! Phew!!

Thanks again to all. I could have put up with the way it was, but I found
it annoying, and it's a very busy list, so a huge build-up of messages was
beginning to need my attention.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns
