Thanks Kevin.  I am glad to hear that I am not alone in this

(have you had similar problems with lists hosted by other than 
Freelists?  I use a yahoo.co.uk address for all my Yahoo groups, but 
my gmail one for Smartgroups.)


Pleased to say that through George's prompt action I am now getting 
immediate brief acknowledgements from Freelists when I post, which is 
very helpful.
