Hi again Andrew. It worked. I renamed the sound file to index.mp3. I'll need to remember that one! I gave up on David Bowie. I've got some graphics of dancing pigs and I've downloaded the old Pinky and Perky theme. I'm having a ball, and that's without a drink. By the way, the web-page is not going up. It's to stay on my computer. It's only a list of radio station url's and links to the bbc's Radio 2 Listen again service, and perhps links to Main Menu and Blind cool tec. Still. Lots of fun here. Thanks for the help. Best wishes. Andy

Hi,

What about just this line in the head:

<bgsound src="index.mp3">

Make sure this is short and quick to download.

Andrew.

Hi all.

I'm playing around with a wee web-page and wish to have David Bowie's
Ashes
to Ashes track in the background. I have created a file titled
Ashes.mp3
and have placed this in the same directory as my Index.html document.
The
code I've used is as follows:

<EMBED src="Ashes.mp3" width="144" height="60" autostart="true"
loop="false"
hidden="true">

When I open the html document all I get is a ping! Anyone know what
I've
typed wrong? If possible, I'd rather not have Winamp jumping up also.
Any
assistance would be very welcome.

Best wishes.
Andy
