Open Internet Explorer
Go to Tools, alt plus T. Arrow to internet options and press Enter. Hopefully
your screen reader will say General which will mean you are on the General tab.
Your cursor will be in an edit box and the text will be highlighted. If you
want google.com write that just where you are. Now tab around to Apply and
press Enter. Now close down Internet Explorer and open again and see if that
has done it for you. I can't help thinking that you must have installed some
software that changed your home page.
