Hello all, I am writing on behalf of a friend who has a Humanware Smartfew Synergy CCTV and would be grateful for any help you can offer to resolve the below. Whereas the unit works without issue when reading, the following strange phenomenon happens each time he attempts to write: As the pen approaches the paper, three 'shadows' appear on screen. One is the shadow for the actual pen, but the others are phantom shadows on either side of the actual pen tip. As a result, there appear to be three pen tips visible and it is difficult to know which is the actual pen. It also makes writing extremely difficult as he finds it impossible to know where the actual text would be written. This problem only occurs when in white on black mode, however as this is the only mode he can use to read and write text it is a serious problem. We have tried different combinations of settings, including experimenting with external and internal lighting to no avail. As the unit is currently outside its statutory returns period, before contacting Humanware directly we wondered if anyone here would be able to offer any suggestions as to how this could be resolved, or if you have come across this problem yourself. Thank you as always for your time and support. All the best for now and take care. Please note: this message was dictated using Dragon NaturallySpeaking and TalkingPoint. I apologise for any errors in the text. _______________________________________ Have a pleasant day, Kind Regards and Best Wishes, Hussein Patwa Tel: 0789 47 595 62 (UK) Tel: +44 (0)122 4433 954 (SIP) Twitter: www.twitter.com/hussein_patwa Skype: patwaspotterfan2 Web: www.patwanet.co.uk Blog: http://patwaspotterfan.livejournal.com Find me on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=510013486 Please note: Calls from witheld numbers may not be connected.
