i'm wondering if i unwittingly updated to the new operating system. How would I know?

Hi Damon,Same thing happened to me when I upgraded to iOS4. Just go to the App Store and download them again. You wont have to pay again because it knows you've already purchased them. Plus, if your experience is the same as mine, all your data will still be there, including the Sudoku game I was playing at the exact same point I left it!
