Hi Amro - IE7 use to work just fine here, but a few weeks ago, started
behaving as I have details in my earlier message. I did try upgrading to IE8,
but with no noticeable change, so used system restore to go back to 7. Perhaps
I'll try 8 again? -

Andy,, I'm afraid not a solution as such, but IE7 used to give me all sort
of problems and error messages just like the ones you're having. Upgrading to
IE8 got rid of those issues. IE7 is a rubbish browser in my experience. JFW 9
works with IE8 I believe.

The only site IE8 seems to be having a problem with on my system is the BBC
iPlayer Listen Again site. Sometimes IE8 have to try to recover an iPlayer page
a few times before the page is displayed correctly but other times IE gives up
and announce that it can't recover that page. However, it doesn't crash when
that happens, and trying again brings up the page in question eventually. So it
still give better results than IE7, and I'm not sure if this problem is
actually with IE8 rather than the BBC site.

    Cheers,
    Amro

Hi all - sorry if you've seen me ask about this before, but still not
getting it resolved. IE7, under Vista Home Premium, and JFW9, keeps producing
an "IE has stopped working" message, but only on certain websites, such as
www.rightmove.co.uk and www.mcfc.co.uk, but not www.tesco.com or
www.marksandspencer.co.uk, for example. I've tried running IE with all add on
disabled, but that hasn't sorted it, and when I tried to submit a question
under contact us on www.Microsfot.com, IE stopped working there too!

Desperately hoping that somebody has an inkling of what the problem is?

    Andy
