Cheers Philip, yep thanks for the memory card fitting instructions, and the
SIM card instructions. Orange are telling me that I'm getting a 'SIM card
registration failed' because there are problems with the network which will
be resolved in an hour or two. Hope so because my old phone has been
de-activated by Orange even though that's only meant to happen when the new
one is registered properly.

Hi Sunil,

With the phone screen side down and the top away from you, the SIM card fits
with the cut off corner at the bottom right. The smooth side will be
uppermost and contacts facing down. It will feel a little springy as it is
sitting on the contacts. Then close hinged clip until it clicks.

Did you manage to insert memory card?

HTH

Philip

Subject: [access-uk] Inserting SIM cards

Hi, I'm trying to get up and running with a new phone - Nokia N70 - I've put
the SIM card under the battery and put the clip thing over it, but before
putting the flap over it is it meant to besecure in the indentation? Its
sort of rattling around at the moment and its not working either so I'm
guessing its meant to be slotted firmly in place before putting the clip
over it. Is it? And if so can anyone tell me how to do it? What way round
its meant to go and stuff so its touching the contacts.cheers
