Having had a quick browse through this Knowledge Base
Article, I'm inclined to suggest that unless you have a
dedicated test-bed system, you leave well alone. Even
Microsoft's own in built accessibility features either do
not work or are suspect.

Microsoft released the beta of IE8 yesterday.
It does work with Jaws, though you will need to make some
changes to your registry which are documented on the
following site.
