Sorted. Thank you very much. Voice over is pretty quiet compared to the
call message, but I can just make it out.

Cheers

Barry

Hi Barry

Hold the phone away from you so that the loud speaker switches on, then
you'll find by feeling over the screen with your finger you'll hear all
numbers like on the normal keypad, look for the Number you want to press and
let go with your finger (that is if you have the typing mode switched to
touch typing) hope that helps, madleen -----Original Message-----

Subject: [access-uk] I-phone calls, Press 1 to....

Hi all

Ok, I'm getting to grips nicely with my new I-phone 4 but there are still
one or two little niggles that I'm struggling with. Let me run you through
a scenario to pose my latest problem:

I call Vodafone, for example, using the contacts or voice recognition.
When
I get through, I am given three selections; press 1 for blah blah, 2 for
blah blah or 3 for blah blah. Erm.... how do I press a number when there is
no number on screen?

I'm guessing that I have to call the number then bring up the number pad.
What a farce that is. I thought the I-phone was supposed to simplify using
a phone.

If there's a more simple way of doing this, I'd really like to know.

Cheers

Barry
