Ian
The best way is unfortunately to have sighted help - it's simple that way.
The way I did it took a long time and was extremely hit and miss.

Once on the screen with the box for the serial number I put my cursor into Jaws
mode then used the mouse to move about the screen. If I landed off the window
and found myself in the desktop I moved about, left clicking with the left
mouse button until I heard I was back in the installation screen. Then I
systematically move over the face of the window left clicking and typing a
letter or number alternatively. If I heard the error sound when I had typed in
a letter then I assumed I had not hit the box. If on the other hand I had no
error I typed in a few oter letters and moved around the screen with the jaws
cursor to find out if the letteres I had typed in were in a row. If so, I
backspaced without coming out of the box and then typed in the serial code.
It's very hap hazard and extremely frustrating, but you might be lucky to hit
it the first time.
Take care.

Gordon

There is no way I can get this gto go into JAWS forms mode. There is no forms
field list to bring up. Any other suggestions?

  Iain.

    Hi Ian
    Happy New Year.
I had the same problem and only found the reg no. box by using the left
click of the mouse randomly until I hit it. The other way sounds better and now
I've heard about it I'll use it next time.

Audible has a good selection - have you seen the 'Left Behind' ones?

    Best wishes.

      Hello,
I have recently signed up with Audible.co.uk and have received my fre
Ipod. I have inserted the supplied CD and got as far as accepting the licence.
However, I am then asked to insert the 11-character serial number of the ipod.
The problem I am having is that the only thing I can do from this screen is go
back to the licence acceptance or cancel the Ipod installation altogether. The
Next button is disabled and no characters are accepted. What do I do?

      Iain.
