Hi Andy. Personally, I still use my Nokia in the main for calling and texting as I've yet to really play with and master my new IPhone. The IPhone doesn't have any way to expand its memory; you'll have to buy the IPhone in the capacity you initially want, either 16 or 32gb for the new IPhone 4. If you want a higher capacity than 32GB, your option is limited to the IPod Touch which has double the capacity but of course isn't an IPhone. This was the dilemma I was facing when I had to choose touch over phone, but now having the phone and having seen and sold my touch, I cant say I regret my decision to go with phone even with the lower capacity. All the best, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: ANDY COLLINS To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, November 13, 2010 10:49 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Ipods Hi Ibrahim - I was trying to buy this for somebody, and wanted the largest capacity possible, more than say 32GB, that's why I was looking at the Classic, but of course, I wouldn't be able to make much use of it, which on occasions, I might want to. When it comes to something totally for my own use, I still use my mobile for my music player, don't want to lash out hundreds on an ITouch for similar capacity. Perhaps you can tell me about the IPhone--What capacity card will it handle, and have you been able to master calling and texting without error? I know some have experienced difficulty in this latter area, and that skill levels vary, but how have you got along with it so far? Thanks - Andy ----- Original Message ----- From: Ibrahim Gucukoglu To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, November 12, 2010 4:50 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Ipods Hi Andy. I think the Nano is for you then. It comes in both 8 and 16 gig flavors and a variety of colors, has a touchscreen interface and a variety of useful extras like a pedometer, FM radio and memo recorder. A great all round device, I'll be getting one from my wife as a Christmas, even though we both have IPhones. All the best, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: ANDY COLLINS To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, November 12, 2010 4:05 PM Subject: [access-uk] Ipods Hi all - I take it that the Ipod classic 160GB is still inaccessible to blind people? So, which of the Ipod range is accessible with the largest music capacity. I'm only interested in a music player, not one with loads of bells and whistles - Andy
