Hmmm! I don't watch them really but know that NTL seem to have two different systems in place. One is that the description is in with the original channel and the other is that some have their own. Well, this doesn't surprise me to know and I am pleased at least that there is probably some audio description on this channel after all.

Carol,

But neither is BBC3 or BBC4 but they are described on 106 and 107
respectively.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying, I have no knowledge that FilmFour is listed as
an audio described channel on NTL.

Hi Carol

I subscribe to Digi guide which indicates every so often that some of the
films on film 4 are audio described.

It's usually accurate for all other channels but I've never heard a film
on film 4 that carries the AD. Thought it may be a problem with NTL.

Darren.

Darren,

I have no indication that FilmFour is audio described. It may mean a
call to NTL! <Smile>

Take a large bottle, comfortable chair, soothing music and go for it!

Hi All

On the subject of film 4. Are there any NTL subscribers out there who
cannot get audio description to work on this channel? I find it works
great on all the terrestrial channels, although they are located on
illogical numbers. But I cannot get AD to work on channel 444. I'd phone
NTL and ask them about the problem but I may as well ask the cat.

Darren.

Hi Sunil.

This may be a daft question, but what do they mean by plus 1 hour.
Could it

be that it is running 1 hour behind the normal schedule?

Best wishes.
Andy

Hi all.

I have a basic SKY package and pay £25 a month for Multiroom. I do
not
subscribe to any of the movie channels as yet because of the cost.
Can
anyone advise me of the channel number for Film 4 or tell me if I
need
to

pay an additional cost to get this channel?

Thanks.

Best wishes.
Andy
