Hi John.

Thanks for your suggestions. I found a way round the problem, if it is a little sneaky as all your suggestions though gratefully received I already tried with limited success. I eventually hit on the idea of using the OCR function in Jaws 13 to recognise the text in the window, then routing my cursor to the text I needed hence getting me to where I wanted on the right side.

Thanks again for your suggestions, I'm going to email Iolo to see if they could investigate adding some sort of compatibility for JAWS as their product is very accessible in the main as well as being simple to use.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Dear Ibrahim,

I'm unfamiliar with Iolo System Mechanic, but have you tried
maximising the window? (Press Alt+Space followed by X.) Sometimes,
for reasons unexplained, an app's window can shrink to the size of a
postage stamp without the screen reader user realising it. This can
make JAWS behave strangely.

Also, to move from the left pane to the main window, have you tried
the usual suspects? F6, Tab and Ctrl+Tab. If none of them work, you
can always use the JAWS cursor with the window maximised, although
it's a bit of a chore,

hth,
John
