Hello Mandy,

You can find the "Not selected" and other selection options
by:

Press INSERT J to get into JAWS.
Press ALT U (for Utilities).
Press C (for Configuration Manager).
Press ALT S (for Set Options).
Press T (for Text Processing).
Press TAB until you reach the list of four selection options
and ARROW to the one you want.
Press ENTER on OK.

Then, of course, don't forget to press CONTROL S to save to
the Default JAWS file.

HTH,
John.

I have seen the option for JAWS not to say not selected but
don't know where
to find it.
I had thought I set it to *none* under this option but if so
it has not been
effective - Iam using JAWS 11 and when reading email using
Outlook 2007, not
selected is spoken with the name of the sender of each
email. How do I stop
this please?

Mandy.
