|Greetings,

So far as I am aware, I have the latest scripts for GoldWave, least
according to the BlindCoolTech webside. Also, so far as I am aware, the
latest version of GoldWave is v5.25, which I already have.

Both would seem to be installed and working correctly, but there is what to
me is a rather annoying response from the scripts which, I wonder, is it a
scripting matter or a Jaws foible?

When using the j k l keys to progress a file, there is no problem, until I
use, say the set marker keys (alt-shift-e), then, Jaws announces something
like this:

" k l k j k l l l j lj l k k k k j l"

i.e it seems to buffer the umpteen last keystrokes I've used and by time all
these have been spoken, the information I am after from the other keys used,
is swamped.

I would like it so that these j k l keys could be disguarded instead of
being buffered.

Obviously, I do not want to lose any information received from the scripts
as I find it highly useful.

Oh yes, there is another peculiarity, now I come to think of it and wonder
can it be addressed?

When saving a file, normally we see the complete file name, even if, as I
often have, the name is highly descriptive hence long. However, when I save
selection as filename (alt-e then y) the name is always trunkated even if
short. Is this a windows, GoldWave or scripting matter? I have all the
windows maximized.
