I did this James and clicked on apply but it did not change. I want to have the year first, then the month and finally the day. I went in to the drop down box and did this. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Eleanor,

Go into Control Panel, select Regional and Language Options, hit customise, choose the date tab, then change the date format.
