Hi, Catherine,

The problem for most of us blindies is that more and more providers are using the dreaded visual verification system which is useless for screen reader users. Google use it, Yahoo use it, and I have an idea Smartgroups may have started to use it.

You could also have a look at Delphi Forums, and why not Freelists? I have an idea Delphi provide an audio alternative to the visual verification thing.

You have all the same barriers to face when you're a moderator or owner of a list as you have being an ordinary member. I've got the scars to prove it. :)

Vince.

Hi all,

I'm wanting to set up a list, and wondering which is the easiest provider to use from the moderator/owner's point of view (I couldn't care less about the members you see!)

Most vi-related lists used to be on yahoogroups. Now it seems most aren't - some at freelists, some at smartgroups, and I think some at google.

Any opinions/consensus (I doubt the latter) on which is the easiest to use from a screen reader using owner's point of view?

Catherine
