hi sandra, you need to go to the control pannel. from the start menu go to settings and then c0ontrol pannel. then go to users and follow the steps. then go to pass words and you should be able to setup a log-on pass word.

hope this helps

cheers
tony

Subject: [access-uk] Log on password for Windows 98

Hi Listers,
A friend of mine is using Windows 98 and wants to know how to create a log on password. It's a long time since I used 98 and can't remember how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Sandra.
