Oh, thanks Steve. I hadn't got around as yet to downloading Audible
files and transfering them to the Stream.

Someone aught to point this out on the UK Stream list if they've not
done so. Could have people taring their hair out!

Cheers,

Hi Ray,

As a point of inconsistency though, with the new Stream update, the
Audible
support breaks that rule. You absolutely must put your Audible books
in the
$vraudible folder, you can not put them in subfolders underneath that
folder, as you can with other types of books. And they don't tell you
that
in the release notes. I think the reason you can't is that Stream
looks for
that hidden .sys file. It is either broke, or not very good <Smile>.

All the best

Steve

Barry, just one thing you've got to do to get the stream to recognize
your
FOC file. Create a folder under the 'otherbooks' folder, maybe called
radio, or anything you like. Now, transfer the BBC MP3 download to
that
folder. The Stream should now recognize the file's there. You could
add
other radio programme downloads to the radio folder, or whatever you
choose
to call it.

When you've got to 'radio' in the otherbooks folder, simply going back
and
forth with 4 and 6 will take you through the other downloads you've
placed
in the sub-folder.

People should bear in mind too that DAISY books in the in the DAISY
books
folder should also have there sub-folders to be able to identify the
various
books you've transfered across.

Hi all

Am I right in thinking that mp3's, such as 'From our own
correspondence that
I have downloaded from Radio 4, should be put in a sub folder under
the
folder '$VROtherBooks'? If not, what am I doing wrong? I have tried
putting such files in every folder that is suggested, but I cannot see
them
with the Stream.

Thanks in advance

Barry
