Hi Chris,

In my limited experience, don't go for a USB mic, they sound 'orrible at the
other end. Go for a mic that plugs into the mic jack, especially if you
have a good sound card.

All the best

Subject: [access-uk] Microphone query

Hi all.
I was thinking of purchasing a USB microphone the other day to be used for
Skype, however I have decided to wait till all my friends, particularly my
girlfriend, to be on Skype before I buy one. So, for now, could I plug my
Sonus 1XT speaker into the microphone jack and use it as a mike? Thanks.
