Hi,

 

I was looking for a free, accessible OCR package for occasional scanning.  I
am running Window-Eyes 6.1.

 

In Office XP and 2003, There was an item called "Microsoft Office Document
Scanning" in the "Microsoft Office Tools" menu.

 

I am now running Office Enterprise 2007 under the Microsoft Home Use
Programme, and don't seem to be able to find this item.

 

Does anyone know if it has been removed or renamed? Failing that, can anyone
recommend a freeware accessible OCR package?
