[access-uk] Re: Microsoft Word 2003 moving between documents

Hi Marie

I can definitely open two Word 2003 documents and alt tab between them
as I normally do. I don't want to play too much in case something
stupid happens and I can't. As I said yesterday, it happened to me some
while back on an older version of Office, and I never could get it back
to alt tabbing between documents, hence the control F6 method.

I guess the nice thing with Windows to a point is that there is normally
more than one way to achieve a task, and it isn't a right or wrong
method.

Glad you are sorted though.

Looks like beggars can't be choosers! [smile] must be one of them as I
still can't use alt+tab as I used to, even after following all
suggestions given.
Nevermind, Jackie has found a way round for me and the job is now done.
But as she says, it would be nice to know what changed in my settings in
Word to alter its behaviour Marie.

documents

        Hi
I am not sure which list Maria asked this question. I've just
tried it out, Maria's way and jackie and George's way. I have no
problem doing Alt+Tab and moving between both documents. I ensured that
both documents were maxamised as this is my preference in any case and
it works just fine. I then went to Window like George suggested and put
the documents side by side and I xould still do Alt+tab and move between
the documents, of course I could use Ctrl and F6 as an alternative. Was
beginning to feel spoilt for choice.

        Eleanor
