Thanks Steve, it looks like I might be able to get a 6120 Classic on the
same contract, which I understand is S60, although it isn't listed on
the code factory website as being compatible.

Hi Matt,

The 6288 does not work with Mobile Speak at all. It is a Symbian 40
based phone. Both Talks and Mobile Speak require that the Symbian is
Symbian 60, not 40.

All the best

Subject: [access-uk] Mobile Phone operating systems

Hello

I am currenlty looking at upgrading my handset/contract and am being
offered a Nokia 6288 but I can't find anywhere to tell me if it runs a
operating system compatible with mobile speak. It seems thateveryone is
using talkis but I have an existing licence for this which will mean the
upgrade wil be less costly

Thanks

Matt
