Hi philip - indeed I do agree with your point - apologies for the ratehr glib 
reply which wasn't intended to be personal.  I don't know the reasoning behind 
the decision taken by the researchers but as some one from an academic research 
background assume it is to do with defining some parameters of the test users. 
By setting an age range in this way they hope to try and get a focus group with 
broadly similar experience and skills.  A limitation of resources stopping them 
testing with a wider range of users they would argue I'm sure.  If it's any 
reassurance at all, and I don't suppose it is I am familiar with the research 
group conducting this work and they are always extremely thorough

Hi Adrian,
The point is made. I clearly haven't got the attention span to carry on long 
enough to read message to the end.  However, more seriously, there are many 
people, like myself, who lost sight later in life who should not be excluded 
from studies such as this, as we still try to use mobile phones.  As an 
inclusion adviser I am sure you agree.
