You shouldn't need to export anything from IE.

In Firefox, you simply go
FILE>IMPORT
The first option is "Import from Internet Explorer".
Then simply select which of the following you want:
Internet Options
Cookies
Browsing History
Favorites

Press next and you're done.

Because of problems with my on-line shopping with Sainsbury I have to keep Firefox on my machine. I have just tried to export my Favourites from IE8 to
Firefox and nothing seems to be happening. I'm fine in using the
Import/Export but I'm not too sure where to export it to. Some help in the
destination would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Roger
