Hi George, From a VI former IT professional living in Glasgow. Now that
you've questioned it, I can't imagine that that process would in fact
happen; presumably they'd just burn an XP image on to a virgin drive.

So George, what brands do you like nowadays?
Thanks.

Subject: [access-uk] NEW DESKTOP FOR MY FATHER-IN-LAW

HI, As the subject suggests, I need to get a new desktop for my
father-in-Law. I have heard that the Dell range running XP are downgraded
from Vista, and that that doesn't always work well with Jaws. I should
welcome comments on this, and what other makes are popular, and where to
find a suitable machine. Thanks,
Richard
