At the moment it's mainly phonecalls, but in the past I have needed the WEB and to use a phone as a modem. Oh, yes, I've had email on the phone too, but don't intend really to do that now.

Cheers and thanks.

Maybe I'm doing this in the wrong order! I was
wondering first what do you think you'll be using
your mobile for? I mean is it for calls and
texts with maybe a bit of web access or are you
wanting to get to a networks entertainment
accessibley, like TV, news video clips, sport and
other things. I just thought I'd better ask.

Hi you can get that phone for £99.99 from Three
resellers . I did see Superdrug sell their
contract only phones as pay as you go. If you
went into a Three store you probebly wouldn't be able to purchase
one. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dean Wilcox"

Hi,
If you are interested in a look at the Nokia
6120 Clasic then Amazon sell it sim free for £155:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nokia-6120-Classic/dp/B000X43C3K/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1206405900&sr=8-1
They called it clasic as the 6120 has been used
before, apparently its an old phone so clasic
is the new model. Don't worry, I don't think
its possible to even get it by accident. It
does have 3g but not WIFI if just in case that interested you.

As for the 3 network, I myself like 3. For
calls, texts and phone stuff I think they're
great value and their data plans on pay as you
go are very good in my opinion, and possibly
the best. I must warn you though that if your
interested in their content and using their
portal then it isn't very good at all with
Talks. That's with my 6680 and i'm not sure
that Talks on the newer phones works with it
any better. Other sites are fine though so
there's nothing to stop you using BBC to get news for example.

Hi there. I can recommend the Nokia 6120 on 3
network. It's a small phone which is talks
compatible and works well with a web browser.
Even on their pay as you go tarifs you can get
300 units for £15 which expire in 30 days from
purchase. For £18 you get 500 units. and for
£21 you get 700 units. Each unit is equal to a
minute or a text message. I don't see anyone
offering rates such as the above. The phone
has 2 mp camera, mp3 player and real player
for viewing downloaded videos. The phone also
has skype and takes a micro SD card. I have a 2 gig card in my
phone. Have a look at the model at your local Three store.

Hi all,

OK, think I'm going to part with my beloved
Nokia 66330 very soon and am definitely leaving Orange, probably
for 02. If any of you want to write off list and tell
me which phone you have and why it's so good,
and approximate cost if known, I'd be most grateful.

They all have such a lot of features, I hardly know where to
begin. Oh, and can someone tell me where I look up
which phones work with Talks, please?

Thanks - very forgetful in my older age! <Grins>
