My own view is that despite the existence of object navigation in NVDA in
practice there is no usable review cursor which will, achieve anything like
the experience you will get with Jaws..

I think your options are
1. Install a demo 40 minute version of Jaws to deal with the times you need
to use the Jaws cursor.
2. Use Window Eyes for Office 2010 or above. It has actually better cursor
review capabilities than Jaws. It is worth considering subscribing to Office
to gain access to another screen reader if you cannot afford the Jaws upgrade
hike.

Hi everybody, my old pc has finally given up the ghost and I've bought a new
one. The only downside is that it's running windows 7 pro, and the build of
jaws I have won't work with it, so I'm using NVDA. I'm getting by to a
degree, but have found instances where I would have used the jaws cursor, and
NVDA only lets me get to things I can tab to, I can't cursor around. Does
NVDA have a review cursor?
I'm now running windows 7 pro 64 bit, and NVDA 2015.1.
Thanks,
John.
