Apologies for cross-posting to those on both lists, but I would like to ask
a question on behalf of a friend not subscribed to either.

As I know nothing about NVDA, I am unable to help, so please could anyone
with knowledge of the screen reader perhaps suggest how my friend might be
able to put K1000 to sleep so there is no speech conflict between the two.
JAWS and Window-Eyes users will know that this may be done, but can the same
be said of NVDA?

Many thanks for any helpful suggestions.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns
