Depends on what she does. We tend to use screen readers, in addition to
other programs, which have a significant overhead. So if she uses a screen
reader, then I would say definitely yes. But if she isn't, then it may not
be necessary.

Has anyone noticed a significant improvement in performance when upgrading
the memory on an NC10 from 1 GB to 2 GB. My sister has one of these
machines and seems happy with the 1 GB which came with it, but if there is a
lot to be gained by replacing the memory with 2 GB, I might point out the
benefits to her and persuade her to upgrade.

Hi Adrien.
Well, it depends on what makes and models they are. Samsung machines all
take the same type of memory, so what you can use in an NC10 for instance
will work in the entire product line, but for instance a Compaq machine will
take a different chip.
