You can usually change that in the BIOS so the functions are reversed.

Can you tell us the model of your Acer?
It may be that thy functions are there, but require a subtle combination of
keys to work. For example, my laptop keyboard has a key labelled “fn” which I
need to hold down to use the F1 to F12 keys. Otherwise, they do a mixture of
things like increase or decrease volume.

Hi All.
I now do have a new laptop, an Acer and I love it but as I bought it from
PCWorld having had a discussion with a technical guy who did seem to know what
he was talking about: I find that it doesn’t have an insert key nor, I do’’t
think, an applications key.
Brian is always urging me to use a Bluetooth keyboard instead of the laptop but
I don’t particularly like doing this but is there any way to replicate these
keys please?
