Hi Graham,

I have found th opposite. If you run the latest drivers, you don't have to
plug the scanner in, until you have installed the drivers, then the scanner
will be picked up.

All the best

I have found that this scanner can be tricky to install sometimes. This is
usually solved by downloading the latest drivers.

Also, when installing the scanner you need to make sure that you pplug the
scanner in before you start. With other scanners such as those produced by
Epson, you need to plug in the scanner when asked by the software or once
the software is fully installed depending on model.

Cheers

Graham
