Hi Tristram, Yes in this case best to stick with what I know. In fact it's almost like Nod32 has been working too well, too unobtrusively, you almost wonder at times if it's doing it's job but as i say I've not had a virus as far as I'm aware in the past 2 years, my machine hasn't slowed done like it did in the past with Norton and the renewal cost for Nod32 is pretty cheap actually. So another year of Nod32 it is! thanks, Phil Sent: 22 February 2008 15:07 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Nod32 vs MacAfee If the NOD32 is causing you no problems in two years I would stick with it. The free MacAfee may be false economy. Regards. I have been using Nod32 for 2 years now and the fact I've not encountered any problems with viruses etc and haven't really noticed it working away in the background apart from the regular update messages I get mean I am happy with what Nod32 offers. My annual licence is however up for renewal renewal and I do also have the option of a free licence foro MacAfee (however you spell it!) courtesy of my new ISPISP. so my question question is quite simple, what experiences do people have of MacAfee with jaws or am I better off sticking with Nod32 even though I know there are a few possible issues with the new version of the software. Your comments much appreciated as ever! With thanks, Phil __________ NOD32 2895 (20080222) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com
