Hi Sandra,

Just joined the list, so Hello. Vince in Leicester.

You can stop a program being part of your startup sequence by using the Run thing on your Start menu and running MSCONFIG.EXE. The last tab there is Startup. Presumably the Nokia program will be listed in that window with a tick against it. Uncheck it, save changes and hopefully the job is done.

I use a program called Custom Startup, which is a friendlier version of the same thing, and can be downloaded from one of the usual shareware sites such as download.com or Tucows.

Hope that helps.

Vince.

Subject: [access-uk] Nokia PC Suite

Hi everyone,
What's the best way to stop the Nokia PC Suite from starting up every time my computer does. There's an icon in the system tray but it doesn't seem to have an exit. Any help much appreciated.

Cheers,
Sandra.
