Hi,
The driver itself will actually be quite small. However, Vista seems to
often include additional files in its size calculations, including but not
limited to restore points, backups created by the installer, uninstall
files, and in some cases even user directories.
If you're not low on space then I wouldn't worry. But I can definitely
confirm the size is not anywhere near 3.04GB. I installed it on a test
machine with a 10GB partition, and still had nearly 6GB free afterwards,
so that would speak for itself.
