Hi Yes that is the vision hotels mentioned in my previous message, there are 4 in the uk, they are very reasonable but my problem is that I am abroad and as most of these hotels are a long distance from the ferry ports, someone has to travel with me and it can work out quite costly. Living abroad does have it's disadvantages as well as many advantages. I have found a hotel in Chichester but I still have a 7 hour ferry trip to get to it. Again someone has to go with me. I've never visited one, so don't know how well they would be set up re wheelchair access. Also, I'm not sure if they provide activities, or are purely hotels. I beleive their rates are very reasonable. Good luck, Carol. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ibrahim Gucukoglu" <ibrahim_gucukoglu@xxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2012 4:44 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Ot holiday info wanted please > Hi Adrian. > > You could try www.traveleyes.co.uk, they offer foreign holidays for > disabled or should I say blind travellers but they are expensive, > expect to pay twice the going rate if you're blind as they subsidise > the holidays for sighted individuals that way. > > All the best, Ibrahim. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Adrien Collins > Sent: Monday, March 12, 2012 7:28 PM > To: 'access uk' > Subject: [access-uk] Ot holiday info wanted please > > Hi > > I am trying to arange a holiday for myself, I am restricted because I > am in a wheelchair but does anyone know of any other groups like > Leonard cheshire who provide holidays for the disabled?
