Jim! still got a lot of mail to wade through, so don't know if this was answered, but I have the same problem. I don't know how to permanently stop it, but for now, when that message comes up, press Escape. That in my case removes that message and I am either in the message itself or back on the list depending on what I was trying to do. Still comes up again the next message that has this Internet thing going on though. Hope that helps.
