[access-uk] Outlook sort by conversation/thread

Hi,

I am now using Outlook in thread mode where the messages are sorted by
conversation.

I am having some real issues with the placement of some messages.

I used to read my list with the Yarn offline reader for OS/2 back in the
dark ages (actually not long ago), and in that you had the original
message that started of the thread first, then the subsequent messages.
You also had this similarly in Forte Agent.

It seems that Outlook creates a bit of a mish mash of messages all over
the place, and when you go through them, you think you have finished
with a topic, then you find the original message nearer the bottom of
the window.

Also, you don't seem to be able to collapse a set of messages, for a
topic you want to read later. I quite often do this to clear down the
message lists, then expand the thread I want to read at that time. You
could also delete a set of messages in this way. I seem to be able to
do this partially in Outlook, but only on the top most thread.

This is using Outlook 2003 with all updates.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Andrew.
