Hi,A

Ny decent recording software should be able to record into one soundcard and
play out the other.

Andrew.

Hi George

Yes I found this one thanks to Christopher's posting but as you say
cassettes are quickly becoming history and I was looking to finally get rid
of the last of mine. So £105 in those circumstances is a little rich.
However I rather like Andrew's solution of a USB soundcard and plug a normal
deck into the line in socket. I can buy a reasonably decent one from
Maplin's for £12 something. I assume I would be needing some speakers or I'm
back to the grovelling again but I have several surplus pairs of them laying
around. A jury rig agreed but it's only needed for as long as it takes to
clear the last of my cassettes. So am I correct in my assumptions or is
there something I'm missing?

Many thanks to all who responded

Roger
