PURE'S VOICE TECHNOLOGYThis is great news Ian. Look forward to an In Touch
feature. Certainly hope it may find its way into the HI-Fi tuners they make.

  Hi all,

Since the announcement of the release of the Sonus1XT with Ivox speech from
Pure, I've asked them whether other DAB products could be upgraded to
incorporate the voice. The Bug, for example can have its software upgraded via
a PC and USB connection. The answer is that the speech requires a certain
amount of extra flash memory which isn't available on other sets currently,
however, they are looking at its wider application across their product range.

  Cheers now.

  Ian
