Hi Andy,

You need to authorise the connection on the phone. Go into Bluetooth, right
arrow to Paired Devices, select your laptop from the list, then Options,
then Set as Authorised.

All the best

Hi Andy,

Sounds like you are not typing in a pairing code. You need to do this. I
reckon your computer is probably coming up and asking you for a pairing code
in the System tray as a balloon or something. Make sure you give both the
phone and the PDC the same pairing code, whatever it is. It can be anything
you like.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Pairing Bluetooth devices

Hi all -

Using Bluetooth I'm trying to pair my N91 with my laptop.

From within Control Panel, I click 'Bluetooth devices' and select my N91
from the list. Next, I move to 'Change Settings For A Bluetooth Device', and
check the boxes to 'allow Bluetooth device to find this computer' and 'allow
Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer', and I click ok.

I next go to the phone and choose connect to the laptop from the 'paired
devices' tab sheet; and get the message "unable to make Bluetooth
connection."

Anyone say what I'm doing wrong or omitting to do please? -

Andy
