Hi Ian,

Without going back into the list admin (it's too early now!) I'd say no more
than 10 in total, and that includes the list owner and 2 moderators. After the
recent kafuffle, everyone was clobbered.

So, while I have an excuse, I've attached a file called text.txt to see if I
still need to stop attachments.

George.

Hi George,

I wonder how many people are actually receiving these messages. Having had
nothing from the Freelists version of this group for several days, I sent a
subscribe message yesterday and it was accepted. so, presumably I had been
unsubscribed at some point earlier in the week.

Can you tell how many people are subscribed, compared with the 288 on the Yahoo
list?

Oh, and just to keep you happy here's a £ (pounds) sign! <smile>

Cheers.

Ian

That's it for the night folks. I'll be back later to tackle the test
issue, and perhaps add an Unsubscribe and Vacation footer..

        George.

For Steve's benefit, and my fellow moderator's also, please note that
if you try to sign in with a different computer, if a different IP address is
received, you may find that you need to get a new password.

And for everyone else's benefit, I'm sending this in HTML to see what
happens. £1 to a bad Penny, it won't be right, but have patience. Better
now, than a zillion complaining messages.

        George.

Way hey! Magic! Now we can bitch and moan about costs, and see that
£1 really is a Pound, and it looks like the equals signs are gone too.

        Here is very much hoping.

Sorry folks, but there will be a few more of these before the day is
over.

I want to try and make sure attachments don't get through, and also try
to make sure messages only come in plain text.

        George.

Sorry folks - me testing again. I wonder if it will reject £20
(Twenty Pounds) again.

        George.
