Gina,

This Dell laser printer has caused me no end of trouble. If my budget will stretch I'd like to replace it with another laser because I have too many bad memories of being stuck on a Sunday night needing to print an invoice for the next day and finding my inkjet isn't playing ball or refuses to print a monochrome document because the colour cartridge is empty or dried up.

I don't have any IOS devices but I think my numerous nieces might have so a good wireless printer might be in order.

Hello Michael,

I personally have a preference for laser printers. Because I rarely use
a printer I found I needed to spend a lot of money on bubble jet ink
because the cheap bubble jet printers dry up quickly. Whereas, laser
toners don't age so rapidly.

I don't know what your phone usage is either. But it might be a good
idea to get one that you could use with a IOS device. A lot of people
are replacing perfectly good printers because they can't get it working
over their wireless network.

Hello list,

Not really an accessibility question since most f us have little use for
a printer other than to print stuff for others eyes but here goes...

Over the weekend I had the usual hair tearing-out and swearing a lot
experience of trying to get my Dell laser printer driver installed for
Win 7.

I never got it working and judging from a Google search I'm not the only
one to have problems with Dell printers under Win 7.

So I'm looking to ditch the Dell and get another printer.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Mike
