If Jim wants to send to me off list, I will certainly have a go and return all
25 page document off list.

  Hi Jim,

Do you have an OCR program? You should be able to re-scan your PDF so that
the text can be extracted.

  Take care

      Hello listers,
      Vista and jaws 9.

I have a downloaded pdf file that when adobe reader 8 finishes
converting, will not open and I get the message empty document, although I'm
sure there's text on the page which it says it as converted page 1 of 25. Can
anyone help me to get this pdf file to open and try to explain why it's saying
empty document.

      Thanks.
      Jim.
