Barbara,

I've come across this before, but in my experience it was down to the
coding of the original document and there is no way to reinsert the
spacing that appears visually. Try saving the document as text only from
the File menu and you might get something you can work with

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Problems reading PDF

When I try to read a PDF document with JAWS 9, it is recognising no
spaces between the words, hence it is impossible to hear properly what
is being read. Anyone any ideas why this is happening and what to do
about it?
