Hi John,

You might want, in Kurzweil, to go to settings, then scanning (alt+t,
then s on my version here). Then tab around to "scanner source" and
select a different scanner source. Then OK out of the box and try
scanning. It may be worth, also, having a try with IrfanView or one of
the other light-weight scanning packages to make sure that the scanner
is still working in general.

Aman

I seem to have a faint recollection of having to change the scanning
interface which was being used from Twain to a WAI interface but can not
find anything in the Kurzweil menus where this can now be done, nor in the
Lexmark options.

I have already spent many hours trying to get things working OK again but to
no avail.

Has anyone any ideas what might be the problem and how it might be fixed.

Thanks.
John.
