Darren, I'm sure you're not doing anything wrong. There have been some
compatibility problems with Cereproc voices in the past, and I wonder whether
this is your problem.

I'd be inclined to ask CereProc for advice on this.

Does the CereProc voice work with other things, such as Narrator, or any other
screen reader? If not, it could be that the new voices aren't registered, or
whatever procedure CereProc has for validating your purchase.

Vince.

  Hi List.

Just trying to get to grips with NVDA but have hit a bit of a brick wall re
voice selection.

I go to synthesiser to choose SAPI 5 from the options, and I then go to the
voice options where I can see three choices, and its here I have the problem.

If I arrow down once, away from Microsoft Sam, and try to land on Sarah from
SereProc, I'm immediately thrown out of the voice settings and NVDA closes down
totally. As in unloads itself from Windows!

Has anyone any idea what I'm doing wrong here?

  Darran
